Hi friends!
I have an amazing word of encouragement for you today. Are you facing any obstacles in life right now? Are there doors that seem to be closed to you? Mountains that seem to be in the way of where you want to go?
Man, I can relate! Every day it seems like something pops up just to taunt me or remind me that getting where I want to go, where I sense God calling me to go, is out of reach, unrealistic or actually, impossible.
Whether it’s a technical struggle, a financial setback, a physical challenge, life seems filled with roadblocks. Do you ever feel this way? I was lamenting this recently, thinking about these mountains in my life, in my mind, in my habits, that seem to keep me from making progress. Mountains that I can’t seem to move no matter how hard I try.
As I was stewing, er, I mean, reflecting, Jesus showed me something in the Song of Songs: [He is] coming to me—leaping with joy over mountains, skipping in love over the hills that separate us, to come to me. In this verse, Jesus just jumps over the mountain and goes on about his day.
I realized that I don’t have to move every mountain to make progress. Sometimes, I just have to take Jesus’ hand, leap over the obstacle and go on my merry way. In other words, maybe it’s not as hard or as big a deal as I sometimes make it! (I sure hope someone can relate to this…and it’s not just me!)
This was so freeing to realize I don’t have to move every roadblock or deal with every little inconvenience. I can choose to just move past some of them and get on to what is next.
Obviously there are some obstacles we need to deal with or overcome. But to me this was permission to let go of many things I thought were holding me back; things that to Jesus are just little hills to hop over. Maybe there are things in your life that you can go ahead and get over, too. Maybe the mountain you think is holding you back, isn’t really that big a deal. Maybe you can make progress even if that thing never changes or completely goes away. Just a thought…
Consider Psalms 18:33: He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly and tread safely on paths of testing and trouble]; He sets me [securely] upon my high places.
We have more power to overcome and get through and move on than we often realize. In fact, we have supernatural ability to make progress even when in the natural it seems like a dead end! Maybe this word of encouragement will help…
Supernatural Living is possible.
This is an invitation, child, to step into supernatural living. An invitation to do greater works. Because you in me and me in you as a spiritual reality, as a spiritual dominating force is unstoppable.
And there are doors that I have called you to walk through, there are places I’ve called you to go that cannot be accessed any other way. They cannot be naturally opened. They must be supernatually walked through.
And in the same way that Jesus appeared to the disciples amd walked on water and through walls, the material realm will no longer define what is possible for you. It will no longer limit what you can do.
Your spirit will walk through every barrier, every limitation, any closed door that I’ve called you to walk through. You’ve been living too small. You’ve been living under the natural man. And it’s time to transcend all of that and SOAR.
There is no place you can’t go in the spirit, right now. There’s no problem you can’t solve in the spirit right now. There is no reality that is more real than spiritual reality, right now.
I hope this breathes fresh strength and hope into your life today, friends! Please let me know how I can be praying for you,
Sue
