work
Sue Brage has spent the past 10 years in the Christian media industry. Her abilities as a gifted communicator and talented writer have opened many doors of service within several Christian organizations. Sue considers herself a “Joseph” always striving to better every product, communication, process, and person she comes in contact with. This is the heart of who she is as an employee, supervisor, writer, and media creative.
Her eye for the big picture allows her to define needs within an organization and do her best to fill those needs. She helped develop her past two positions in response to gaps she identified. “It’s always fun to write your own job description…” she reports with a smile.
Sue has established herself as the “ideas person” when developing marketing materials, web campaigns, product lines, or television programming. Sue has a passion to see the kingdom of God represented well in every venue, and this passion compels her to push herself and those around her. She brings a fresh approach to each project encouraging others to let go of “religious” ideas or traditional ways of doing things. This attitude helps create a more collaborative, productive environment where her team and their ideas can thrive.
In her current position as Web Communications Director, she has learned to work with web developers, designers, and IT personnel. As the Editing Manager, she loved working with a team of writers developing a writing style that continues forward even now. In both of these roles, Sue was able to keep projects moving forward and manage the many details involved. This has given her the reputation of always being on time or even ahead of schedule with deliverables, exceeding expectations of the leaders she works for. She takes her role very seriously and reminds her team that making God’s vision happen is a noble and worthy cause, no matter what part you play.
Sue gives her heart to every project and team she is a part of. She goes beyond what is expected and does whatever needs to be done to keep the vision moving forward. This is the strength she brings to any organization; and the way she intends to continue serving in the kingdom of God, wherever God places her.
